Hey losers! Just got back from the nerd-fest!!! 24 hours of (almost) non-stop Starcraft (a super nerdy game overrun by Koreans)!! The whole event was to celebrate the (almost) release of Starcraft 2, which was supposed to come out 2006 - now it's due out in 2010. Ahhh well, I seriously need sleep. So I'll talk to y'all l8er!

Wait, one more thing. I work at this hectic place called Zone 3. It's a Laser Skirmish place and it's pretty damn cool. Anyway, I played last night and got an accuracy of 69%... Ahahhahaa!! I love being mature...

Party at Jess' Satuday Night!! So pumped! Haha there's gonna be over 100 people going, so that's pretty fucked. Cops are definitely gonna show... Meh, too bad. Start at 7pm, finish when the cops show. If they don't show, then will we ever stop?

Also, holidays are coming up! Tomorrow's the last day of school! And Nerdfest this Sunday night? Wooooooo! Who loves spending the night playing computer games over a LAN connection? ME! Damn... Queeny's right; I'm a nerd... =[ I AM A FUCKING NERD!! Haha I should stop swearing. But we all know I probably won't.

Oh! And I got a new phone! Nokia 6500! Snazzy.

My assignments are finished! I can finally get some sleep...
Going to the city tomorrow to see my friend who's come to visit.

This is word-for-word what one of my good friends posted on Myspace. Oh God I'm so worried... I don't know what the hell lead her to believe those words! She's never come close to being a bitch, or a whore. And she's loved by everybody! I just don't know what's going on right now. I'll call her in a bit and see what's up. Okay, anyway... I better go and get these bloody assignments out of the way before Monday...

Okay, so school sucks... Do we all agree?! Haha why do I ask that when I already know the answer?

Anyway, does everyone else get these assessment weeks? Where they pour hundreds of assignments and assessments and exams and crap on your shoulders all in one go? And they expect you to be able to carry this workload? All of it?! AT ONCE?! What the fuck is wrong with the damn school?! Oh my god! Okay okay, let me slow down just a bit...

We're about 7 weeks into the school term and this past week was assessment week. That basically means, for every subject, you must:
a) Complete a hand-in-task to be handed in next Monday (today's Friday).
b) Prepare a speech to give some time during the assessment week.
c) Sit an exam.

Okay, well I've got a combination of all three... I hate myself for doing the subjects I'm doing... Damnit it's so unnecessarily annoying! Okay, so these are the subjects I do and the corresponding assessments I must complete:
English Advanced: Oral task due in last Tuesday, March 25th.
English Extension: 1000 word essay on Dracula. Due in Monday, March 31st.
Advanced Mathematics: Exam. 1 hour to complete.(Friday, March 28th).
Chemistry: Exam. 1 hour to complete (Tuesday, March 25th).
Business Studies: Oral task to be given on Friday, March 28th.
Philosophy: Oral task to be given on Wednesday, April 2nd.
Photography: 800 words on Photography styles. Due in Monday, 31st March.
Visual Arts: 2000 word essay on some stupid painting. Due in Monday, 31st March.

That's 8 assessments all compiled into about 10 days... Are they for real?! I mean come on... Well, I guess I'm part to blame for doing so many subjects. But at least spread them out! Damnit, why don't they realise that this puts an enormous amount of stress on a 17 year old! It's not mentally healthy! It's about learning, right? So do they expect us to learn anything from rushing assignments just to hand them in on time? Haha I don't think so... Stupid teachers...

Okay... Let's cool things down a bit. So today's Friday. And I've got the weekend to complete three assignments. That's English Extension, Visual Arts and a Philosophy speech. I've also got soccer on Saturday, and then work straight after that, so that kills the entire day. I'm planning on going out Sunday, though I don't think that's gonna happen. So basically, I've got tonight (it's 2:50pm right now) and Sunday... This doesn't seem remotely possible.

Oh well, I guess I'll get into my assignments now.

Okay, so my last Live Journal was a miserable failure! So here I am again, on my new account! I Do plan on using this by the way. I'll update whenever I can! Though I can't really tell how often that will be.

Anyway, I thought I'd just break my journal cherry with a first entry! And this is it! Enjoy! Not that's it's very enjoyable yet. But oh, don't you wait! In less than 3 years I'll have a half-decent looking LJ!

Also, if anyone knows how to insert a banner or other pictures on my LJ, please comment telling me how!!!!
